There is a very ancient tradition, a note in the fabric of creation of a true human being. And from the beginning of human consciousness, there have been those beings who take birth to keep this note, this purpose, alive. Hints and stories in all cultures and civilizations tell of the hidden way, the return to the source of being. It is hidden within the dense matter of creation. And it is one light. A long time ago, when humanity could still read the stars, could still feel the light of the stars in her heart, a story was told of the time when all would be lost, or nearly lost.  This first story was etched into the spiral of life, a premonition that would haunt us.  You see, creation was given in a single act, To Be.  And in this act of love, we, each and all, serve one another. Imagine reaching down at shore's edge and lifting up a fist full of sand, every grain, an expression of God. This tradition, this note returns to guide souls into this next era of oneness. Human beings were and are designed for the communication of light. The Song of 13 returns the sincere traveler to a life of devotion rather than consumption. It restores the dignity of a human being. The path of 13 is a path of the incarnation of Divine Love. The soul is fired in this Love.  Love does not coddle. It knows. It transforms the knower into the known in 13 stages. The timing of such a firing is unique to each soul. Each one is shaped and opened and revealed through the love. The unseen hands of the Masters bring us alive to our purpose.

One could look at the path of 13 as one of progressive poverty. For this holy diminishment, for the soul to flower, the seed must be opened and broken down. It is so simple. And yet human beings have evolved to fear change, even the change of a season.  The path of 13 is the flowering of the soul in this world.  It is the completion of love. Something akin to Christ's words on the cross. Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do. Each traveler learns in time that the enemy is a force of the imagination and that rage is an experience of severance from the source of light. To pardon all crime, yours and mine.  Such is the mercy of 13, at the end. For love to root, there is only the path of forgiveness, the practice of pardon.  One can never understand this road, this fire, to forge a human being true.
