In the western traditions of Christianity, Judaism and Islam, there is a story that God gave Adam the names.  It was given to humanity to name, to know the names, and to name everything in creation.  Every plant, every animal, every stone, every being seen and unseen was secreted into the heart of Adam.  This is an esoteric tradition that comes from Adam’s sister.

Inside the Song of Genesis is hidden not only the name of everything but the naming of everything.  All that has been left—the only task that has been given to I,t that is left in the Chinese tradition of medicine is the means by which possessions are resolved.  Collisions in nature are resolved.  It’s a Taoist tradition.  It’s not a Christian tradition. There’s a much deeper understanding of how the spiritual evolution of earth occurs.  Alchemy.

The oldest alchemical texts in the west talk of alchemy as the art of inner transformation as the process, this is very important, this is the 7 dragons, the process of bringing the divine into conscious human existence, and simultaneously taking the human back to the divine.  The fundamental importance of this alchemical art is the fire at the center of the earth.  It was called Red Sulphur in the Western tradition.  In the Taoist tradition it was called the Dragon.  Light in the very depths of the underworld.  The destiny of fools and madmen and lovers.

Long ago we walked this earth. We didn’t even sit in tents or in buildings.  We walked.  We would walk the rivers of light that are inside the soil of the planet.  Always always looking for pure water.  The teachings of the divine that drip down in, that appear like rain, doors into the vast mystery of LIfe.  And we looked after Her animals.  We looked after villages that had disease.  We looked after all sorts of things as we lived, but we walked.  We traveled.  You wouldn’t say that a medicine was separate from a spiritual tradition. It’s your life.  We’re born to a task.  That was long ago, but many of you have such memory in this torn and ravenous culture that we’re in.

Spleen 1 Hidden White.  To Spleen 21, Encircling Glory.  The map is inside us.  Alchemical tradition. The art of all alchemical traditions, one human being, all of creation, all 18,000 universes can be entered through one human being.

The place of communion is the Song of Genesis.  It’s not a sacrament that the priest does.  It’s a location deep in the heart.  And so much falls away when we arrive here.  So much can be given here, because there is no ego to fight it off.  The force in us to praise the divinity of all is far greater than our need to survive.  One person, one treatment at a time, we are carried further in.

The Song of Genesis in the human being is the constellation of the Great Bear.  It is Ursa Major.  It is Orion.  The 7 stars on the front are the Great Bear, pointing to the North Star.  And the 7 points on the back is Orion in the winter sky where we live now.  It’s not symbolically that; it is that.  Hidden in the deep recesses of Taoist lore are the 7 dark stars.  Each star guarded by a female deity.
