Our Mission
The Unseen Hand: Medicine from Antiquity is a non-profit school dedicated to making available the esoteric teachings and practices of an ancient mystical lineage.
The mystical feminine mends the weave of life in an individual, a group, and in the Earth herself. It is Her mercy, Her beauty, Her forgiveness, Her terror that hold the key to the work of redemption so needed now. Without Her, the light of the feminine within humanity, nothing new can be born. This is a mystical tradition of grace that works directly in the magic of creation, weaving love into the hearts of people, love into the story of life.
To honor and preserve these teachings and practices, we use a variety of programs and initiatives, including spiritual retreats, public talks, meditation groups, small highly interactive training groups, as well as the treatment and study of ancient medicine .
This lineage holds a transmission of love that watches over and serves the root of life itself.
We work with this love in structures/patterns we call the “Songs of Creation.” These songs are best understood as currents of love, song lines of light and intelligence, teachings that return us to the core of our being. The Songs of Creation guard and reveal the place where the sacred comes into existence. These are not songs that we learn to sing. We are not speaking of a melody that is chanted.
Like birdsong or ley lines on Earth, the Songs of Creation are both the inherent structure of life and the prayers, the instruments by which life's deepest purpose is lived.
These songs were revealed in our earliest days, teaching us to live and work in harmony with all of life. As medicine they were given to participate in the re-balancing of Nature, to articulate the consciousness of Love. The songs are the designs, Heaven’s call and Earth’s echo, inside of life. As they arrive through the work of the lineage, they govern and restore life itself. We can call this “healing” work, yet it extends beyond personal health. Our work is to serve life at its core.
Central to the work of this school is the dissembling of deep structures of violence in the psyche of individuals, working in the deep currents of the collective unconscious. To unravel the curses of racism, misogyny and prejudice which are currently at the helm of global ecocide.
An esoteric school is not a familiar kind of training to the western mind. Very little is known or remembered about schools that cultivate and waken the individual human heart, schools that, like sculptors, reveal truth. In each generation there are those few who follow this fragrance. We live in a time when such a place of refuge and direct experience is nearly forgotten. The school is open to all faiths, nations and traditions.
The school has been carefully built to collect and to offer these songs, these teachings, for many years to come.
